Division of Cauayan City

The Division of Cauayan City was inaugurated on February 28, 2005 and Dr. Lourdes G. Angoluan, CESO V was also installed as Officer In – Charge. Administrative and Promotional Staff were also designated together with support service employees from the city government.

Four (4) items of Education Program Specialist were borrowed from the Division of Isabela through the support of Mr. Orlado G. Gundayao.

With the promotion of Dr. Lourdes G. Angoluan as Assistant Regional Director, Dr. Arsenio T. Constantino was designated as Officer In-Charge. On July 18, 2008, Dr. Cesar A. Adaoag, CEO VI was appointed as the Schools Division Superintendent of the Division.

With the retirement of Dr. Arsenio T. Constantino, former OIC Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Mr. Nestor R. Lucas was designated as the new OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent.

On the third quarter of the year 2011, new education managers were appointed to lead the division to its dream of attaining the marks being set ahead. Dr. Lilly Ll. Domingo, CESO VI was appointed as OIC-Schools Division Superintendent and Mr. Jessie L. Amin as OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent.

April of 2012, Edna A. Pasamonte, Ph.D., was designated to head the Division due to the transfer of Lily Ll. Domingo, Ed.D., CESO VI, to the Division of Isabela.

At present, the Division is led by Jessie L. Amin, CESO VI, OIC, Schools Division Superintendent with Flordeliza C. Gecobe, CESE, OIC, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent.

The Division is comprised of 5 Elementary districts namely Cauayan North District, Cauayan East District, Cauayan South District, Cauayan West District, and Cauayan Northeast District. There are a total of 105 schools in the division, 65 of which is public elementary schools, 14 public secondary schools, 19 private elementary schools, and 11 private secondary schools.

The Division of Cauayan City is an educational institution destined to serve teachers who will contribute to community’s progress and to serve the community that will definitely play a vital role in the country’s economic political and moral recovery. It has a vision of crystallizing intelligence, harnessing endowments and skillfulness, providing opportunities, producing remarkable achievement levels and literacy rate,  motivating the deprived, delivering just and impartial services, empowering school heads and inspiring one and all to get involved in the realm of education.
